Stir Fried Quinoa (foodwishes)
Ingredients
- 1 cup quinoa
- salt to taste
- 1 1/2 cups cold water
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 cup diced smoked ham
- 1/2 cup diced peppers
- 1/2 cup sliced green onions
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tbsp seasoned rice vinegar
- 1 or 2 tbsp soy sauce, or to taste
Directions
- Rinse quinoa for 1 minute
- Add a pinch of salt, quinoa, water to pan, and bring to simmer on high
- Cover, reduce to low, and sommer slowly for 15 minutes. Turn off heat, sit for 5 minutes
- Dice all other ingredients
- Add oil to med heat pan
- Add ham, peppers, onions for 5 minutes or so
- Turn off heat, add garlic for a minute
- Dump quinoa into other pan, heat to med low
- Add vinegar, soy sauce, sricha, etc
