Good Eats Fried Leeks
Ingredients
- 12 oz leeks, trimmed of greens, cut in to 1/3" rings, 2 layers per leek
- 1.5 cups milk
- 1 large egg
- 2 cups AP flour
- 2 tsp kosher salt
Process
- Whisk milk and eggs
- Combine flour and salt, divide this in two bowls
- Drip rings into flour mix #1, then eggs, then flour mix #2
- Fry for 1.5 minutes or until golden brown
