Good Eats Recipe
Ingredients
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 can garbonzo beans, drained and liquid reserved
- 2-3 tbs tahini
- fresh herbs (parsley, cilantro, etc)
- 1 lemon, zested and juiced
- pinch of kosher salt
- 1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
Process
- Chop garlic in food processor
- Add beans & half the liquid
- Add tahini, herbs, lemon, salt
- Drizzle in oil until thick
Modifications
- Roasted red pepper is good when added
- I usually add one tbs of Sriracha garlic chili sauce
- 3/4 cup of sun dried tomatoes added with garlic is good too
