Band Saw

• Remove table when doing full tune up
• Glue tires to Wheels if they slip

Tune-up

• Deepest part of blade gullet should be in center of wheel
• Set tension before adjusting guides
• Tap blade, no more than 1/8" movement
• front of guides should be 1/16th" behind deepest part of gullet
• thrust bearing (sits behind blade, keeps fro moving back when sawing??) should be as close as possible without touching
  • very slight pressure on front of blade should make both thrust bearings turn
• side bearings, as close as possible without touching
